The Columbia EMG Laboratory Faculty and Staff

The EMG laboratory of New York Presbyterian Hospital at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center provides state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and neuromuscular evaluations. Common and advanced techniques are used in the diagnosis of a wide range of neuromuscular disorders, including carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy (pinched nerves), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig disease), peripheral neuropathy, muscle disease (myopathy), Myasthenia gravis, and many others. All full time faculty members are experienced electromyographers, board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine, and active in electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular clinical research. Members also serve as examiners for the certifying board in the discipline and play leadership roles in the national medical societies devoted to this specialty.

The goal of our laboratory is to provide the most advanced and highest quality diagnostic testing available for our patients and referring physicians in a professional and comfortable environment.
